AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Tragedy unfolded on August 4 on Eve Street as a pedestrian accident claimed the life of a man. The Richmond County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as Vincent Parker, a 64-year-old individual. The incident occurred at the junction of Eve Street and Walker Street, where Parker was struck by a vehicle. Despite being rushed to Augusta University Medical Center, Parker sadly passed away on Saturday at 3:38 a.m. This marks the second pedestrian fatality in Richmond County in less than a week.
