The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred on Friday night, leaving a woman dead and a man in critical condition. Deputies found the victims at the scene and they were taken to the hospital. The identities of the victims have been released, but more information about the suspect is still unknown. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into the shooting of a man and a woman on Friday night. The incident took place near Sand Lake Road and Winegard Road at around 8:45 p.m. Investigators remained at the scene for almost 15 hours after being called to the scene. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the injured man and woman. Both individuals were transported to the hospital, but unfortunately, the woman, identified as 54-year-old Lawana Pinkston, succumbed to her injuries, while the man, in his 40s, remains in critical condition. As authorities continue their investigation, crime scene tape was used to secure the area, and deputies were seen searching the nearby woods.
