Captured on body camera footage, the intense confrontation unfolded at a crash scene near Tampa on Saturday morning. The deputies and a Florida Highway Patrol trooper involved in the incident were forced to take cover as the suspect, identified as Eric Blaszczyk, 37 years old, retaliated with gunfire. Prior to the shootout, Blaszczyk had reportedly shot his wife in Pasco County earlier that same morning.
