A hit-and-run crash in east Las Vegas has left one person in critical condition. The incident occurred at the intersection of East Charleston Boulevard and North 27th Street. A Chrysler Pacifica failed to yield the right of way and collided with a Harley Davidson motorcycle. The driver of the Chrysler fled the scene but was later apprehended. An individual is in a serious condition following a hit-and-run incident in the eastern region of Las Vegas. The collision took place on Friday afternoon at approximately 4:25 p.m. at the junction of East Charleston Boulevard and North 27th Street, near Fremont Street.

According to authorities, a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling in an easterly direction on Charleston Boulevard, while a Chrysler Pacifica was exiting a private drive. Regrettably, the driver of the Chrysler failed to yield the right of way and crossed paths with the motorcycle, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles.
Following the collision, the driver of the Chrysler, identified as 46-year-old Brandon Sowell, fled the scene. However, law enforcement officers were able to locate him subsequently, and he was taken into custody on charges related to leaving the scene of an accident.
Tragically, the motorcyclist suffered severe injuries as a consequence of the collision and was urgently transported to University Medical Center. The individual currently remains in a critical condition under medical care.
