A tragic incident occurred in Belagavi district of Karnataka, where a girl and her grandparents died from electrocution. Girl, grandparents die of electrocution in Karnataka
In a tragic incident, a young girl and her grandparents lost their lives due to electrocution on Saturday in the Belagavi district of Karnataka.
Belagavi: A devastating event unfolded in the Belagavi district of Karnataka as a young girl and her grandparents tragically lost their lives in an electrocution accident.
The victims have been identified as eight-year-old Annapoorna Honnappa Lamani, her grandfather Erappa Gangapap Rathod (55), and grandmother Shantavaa Erappa Rathod (50).
Erappa was employed as a watchman in an under-construction building in the Shahunagar locality of Belagavi.

The deceased were originally from Araganchi tanda in Ramadurg taluk, and Annapoorna was residing with her grandparents to receive a better education.
The tragic incident occurred when Annapoorna was attempting to turn off an electric switch in the building and accidentally got electrocuted. Hearing her screams, her grandparents rushed to rescue her but unfortunately, they also got electrocuted. All three of them tragically lost their lives on the spot.
Annapoorna was a second standard student at a government school.
The APMC police from the jurisdictional area immediately responded to the scene.
