The incident occurred on Sunday evening at Taco Ortiz, a business owned by Joana Vasquez, when Vasquez requested payment from Renee for the tacos. In response, Renee became violent. The police arrived at the scene and confirmed that Renee physically assaulted Vasquez by punching her and using pepper spray. A Taco Ortiz staff member recorded the incident on their mobile phone and shared the video on Instagram the following day.
The video footage depicts Renee aggressively approaching Vasquez, throwing a bottle at one of the staff members, and physically assaulting Vasquez. Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department provided medical attention to Vasquez for her injuries.
