Get ready for some exciting news! Taylor Swift has announced that her album “1989” will be getting a special re-release titled “1989 (Taylor’s Version)”. Swift took to her social media accounts to confirm that the album will be available on October 27th. Originally released in 2014, “1989” holds a special place in Swift’s heart as it “changed her life in countless ways”. She expresses her excitement about this new version of the album.

But that’s not all! Swift adds that this re-record is her favorite one she has ever done because it includes five previously unreleased tracks, which she calls “From The Vault”. She can’t believe these incredible songs were left behind and is excited to share them with her fans.

To make the release even more special, “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” is available for pre-order on Swift’s official website. Fans can choose from four special-edition deluxe CDs in different colors, as well as a “Crystal Skies Blue” vinyl and cassette formats.

This will be Swift’s fourth re-recorded album since she announced her re-recording project in 2019. Her previous three re-releases, “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)”, “Red (Taylor’s Version)”, and “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)”, all reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart and also topped the Official U.K. Albums Chart.

Swift has had great success with her “From The Vault” songs on her previous re-recorded albums, with multiple top 10 hits on the Hot 100 and even a number one with the extended version of “All Too Well”. The original recording of “1989” spent an impressive 11 weeks at number one on the Billboard 200.

“1989” was a highly anticipated choice for Swift’s re-recorded albums, as she had already released a few tracks from it, including “Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version)” and “This Love (Taylor’s Version)”. These songs gained popularity on TikTok and were featured in the trailer for the Amazon Prime series “The Summer I Turned Pretty”.

Swift has been breaking records left and right. She recently surpassed Barbra Streisand with her 12th number one album in the U.S. and became the first living artist in nearly 60 years to have four concurrent albums in the top 10. In the U.K., she is the only artist this century to have 10 number one albums.

On top of all that, Swift’s “The Eras Tour” has been a massive success, with record-breaking sales in Australia and dominating the ARIA Albums Chart. She concluded her U.S. leg of the tour in Los Angeles and will continue the global tour with dates in Latin America, Asia, Australia, and Europe before returning to North America in 2024.

Overall, Swift’s re-recording project has been a huge success, and fans can’t wait to get their hands on “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” and hear the incredible “From The Vault” tracks..
