The article simply mentioned Willis’ prior attorney-client relationship with another member of the rap group.

Rolling Stone reached out to Willis for the article, and she confirmed her previous representation of the rapper and stated that she had a positive relationship with him as a client. There is no evidence that Willis was hiding this information, as the ad claimed.

In response to the ad, Willis sent an email to her staff in the DA’s office, denouncing the false information and urging her team not to comment on it.
