A Marlboro man has been arrested for allegedly shooting two people in Marlboro County after an argument. The suspect, Carlos Antonio Fletcher, was already out on bond for attempted murder. A search warrant of his home resulted in the discovery of a firearm and large amounts of narcotics. Fletcher was located and arrested with the help of a GPS ankle monitor. A Marlboro County man has been apprehended while on bail for allegedly shooting two individuals in the Wallace area of Marlboro County following a dispute, as per law enforcement officials. The incident, which resulted in non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, prompted deputies to respond to McLeod Hospital in Cheraw. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the shooting had occurred at a residence on Warden Lane in Marlboro County. Subsequent investigations led to the execution of a search warrant at the residence, where a firearm and substantial quantities of narcotics were seized. The firearm used in the shooting, along with additional evidence related to the incident, was also recovered. The alleged shooter, Carlos Antonio Fletcher, aged 36, was already out on bond for attempted murder stemming from a previous shooting incident in Marlboro County. Thanks to the GPS ankle monitor worn by Fletcher, investigators were able to track him down and make an arrest without any complications. Fletcher has since been taken into custody and now faces multiple charges, including assault and battery of a serious nature, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, trafficking crack cocaine, trafficking a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
