A man, identified as 34-year-old Kyle Lang Turner, has been arrested in Arizona after leading officers on a high-speed chase following a burglary in Kane County, Utah. The chase reached speeds of 90 miles per hour and went through multiple stop lights as it crossed into Arizona. Turner was ultimately apprehended after his car was located and stopped by the Page Police Department. He has been booked into jail in Page, Arizona. KSLTV.com reported

In Kane County, Utah, a man has been apprehended in Arizona after leading law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit subsequent to a burglary. The suspect has been identified as Kyle Lang Turner, a 34-year-old resident of Joseph, Utah.
According to a statement from the Kane County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred around 2 a.m. on August 9 when a report of a potential burglary was received from the Bryce Woodlands Subdivision. A concerned property owner observed suspicious activity at his neighbor’s cabin and upon investigation, the perpetrators hastily fled the scene in a Jeep, towing a trailer carrying an ATV.
The informant pursued the Jeep as it headed towards Highway 89. At some point during the chase, the trailer disengaged from the Jeep and rolled into a ditch, while the Jeep itself continued its course onto Highway 89.
A Kane County Deputy, en route to Kanab, encountered the fleeing Jeep traveling south on Highway 89 and initiated a pursuit. The Jeep reached speeds of up to 90 miles per hour and recklessly disregarded several traffic signals as it traversed through Kanab towards the Arizona border.

At approximately 6:50 a.m., another deputy was preparing to deploy spike strips near the Arizona border when the Jeep abruptly veered onto a side road in Kanab, leading to a dead end. Deputies pursued the vehicle, only to discover it abandoned on the outskirts of Kanab Creek. The suspect then fled on foot into the Kanab Creek drainage area, prompting a coordinated search operation involving various law enforcement agencies, including assistance from the Utah Department of Public Safety helicopter.
By 8:30 a.m., a resident residing on the west side of Kanab Creek reported to an officer that they had sighted an individual matching the suspect’s description passing through the area around 7 a.m., visibly covered in mud. Consequently, search efforts were redirected to this specific vicinity. Additionally, at 9:30 a.m., a resident on South Stewart Drive contacted dispatch to report their stolen vehicle. Furthermore, the resident had been notified by their credit card company that their card had been utilized at a Walmart in Page, Arizona.
Kane County authorities promptly contacted the Page Police Department, who subsequently located the stolen vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. Consequently, Turner was apprehended without incident and taken into custody. He was subsequently incarcerated in the Page, Arizona jail..
