Westcott’s argument rests on the assertion that his cognitive abilities were impaired due to the multiple narcotics prescribed for his ailments. While Bernie Gudvi, the business manager of Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, is the primary defendant in the lawsuit, the couple themselves are not explicitly named as parties. Throughout the sale process of Westcott’s property, Gudvi acted as the representative for the couple.
Westcott asserts that his cognitive faculties had significantly declined due to his advanced age, the detrimental effects of Huntington’s disease (a fatal neurological disorder), and the substantial impact of a major surgery performed just days prior to the proposed contract.
