Kyle Hague, a 24-year-old individual, has been detained at the Multnomah County Detention Center in Portland, Oregon. The arrest comes after an extensive investigation by the Portland police, who suspect Hague of committing a murder in the Centennial neighborhood last month. Alongside the charge of second-degree murder, Hague is also facing allegations of attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, interference with an officer, and third-degree escape.

The incident in question occurred on July 9, when Hague allegedly shot and killed Brandon Allen on SE 174th Avenue. The authorities made contact with Hague on Wednesday morning, believing him to be involved in a motorcycle theft near SE 122nd Avenue and SE Division Street. Hague attempted to flee on foot but was eventually apprehended and taken into custody. Subsequent investigations confirmed his connection to the Centennial neighborhood homicide.
