The devastating accident occurred at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Wednesday near Chambersburg, a town located in south-central Pennsylvania. The RV, which was traveling southbound and towing a trailer, lost control after the tire blowout and crashed into the truck, which was hauling double trailers.

Tragically, all four occupants of the RV and the truck driver were pronounced dead at the scene. The authorities have identified the deceased individuals in the RV as Donald Molander, Kimberly Molander, Miranda Molander, and Dane Molander, who were all residents of Middletown, Pennsylvania. The truck driver has been identified as James Shade, hailing from Martinsburg, West Virginia.
