Eminem has been vocal about his disapproval of Donald Trump for the past seven years and continues to criticize the former President, who is seeking to regain his position in the highest office of the nation.

In an undisclosed video shared on the @Rising_path TikTok account, the 50-year-old rapper from Detroit expresses his frustration when discussing Trump. He admits that he has many criticisms of the businessman, which often leave him feeling overwhelmed and struggling to articulate his thoughts. This led some right-wing supporters to claim that “Trump broke Eminem,” causing the phrase to trend online.

Despite this, Eminem clearly explains his issues with the former leader in the rest of the black and white video.

Eminem criticizes Trump’s ability to connect with his base, especially the white middle class, as a billionaire who has never experienced struggle in his life. He questions how his supporters can relate to someone who doesn’t truly care about them. Despite acknowledging Trump’s persuasive rhetoric, Eminem believes that nothing substantial has been accomplished under his presidency.

Fans of Eminem agree with his sentiments, stating that he accurately portrays Trump as someone who manipulates his devoted followers. The rapper’s criticism of the former President’s lack of understanding of the struggles faced by the working class aligns with his previous statements in a 2017 interview with Vulture.

Eminem expressed his disapproval of Trump through a powerful freestyle at the 2017 BET Awards, and later addressed the backlash he received in his 2018 song “The Ringer.” In the song, he admits that he would reword his freestyle if given the chance, but stands by his empathy for those who were deceived by Trump’s promises. He even mentions being approached by the secret service after his performance.

Currently, Trump is campaigning to become the Republican candidate against President Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election.
