A fatal motorcycle crash occurred in Bridgeport, Connecticut, at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Colorado Avenue. The motorcyclist collided with a Toyota RAV4 and was pronounced dead after resuscitation attempts. The photograph provided shows the scene of an incident that took place in Bridgeport at around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 6. The incident occurred at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Colorado Avenue. According to Captain Lonnie Blackwell of the Bridgeport Police, the victim was operating a 2005 Suzuki 1000 motorcycle when a collision with a 2022 Toyota Rav 4 occurred. Emergency responders were able to remove the motorcycle operator from underneath the Toyota RAV4 and he was immediately taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital for medical treatment. Unfortunately, despite resuscitation attempts, the Bridgeport man was pronounced dead. The operator of the RAV4, a 43-year-old resident of New York, has been identified. Captain Blackwell has stated that the Bridgeport Police Traffic Division is currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
