Three individuals have been apprehended in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in White Settlement, Texas on July 29, as reported by the local police department. The suspects were taken into custody within four days of the incident. The White Settlement Police Department responded to numerous emergency calls regarding a shooting involving multiple individuals in the 8100 block of Albert Street. One of the individuals involved, identified as Angel Pimienta, a 20-year-old resident of White Settlement, claimed to have been pursued and shot at by another vehicle. Pimienta was instructed to drive to the police department parking lot, where the investigation commenced. It was determined that a red pickup truck had been struck by several projectiles. Pimienta, who was found in possession of a firearm, stated that he had arrived at the location on Albert Street to support a friend who intended to engage in a fight with other suspects. Further examination of the scene revealed sixteen spent shell casings in the street and driveway of a residence on Albert Street. Additionally, damage from gunfire was discovered on multiple vehicles, a house on Kimbrough Street, and buildings on White Settlement Road. Arrest warrants were issued for Pimienta, as well as two other individuals named John Thomas Aguilar and Jason Davis, both residents of White Settlement. All three were charged with the offense of deadly conduct, a third-degree felony. Pimienta was apprehended without incident on August 1, while Aguilar was arrested during a traffic stop on August 2 with the assistance of the Tarrant County Criminal Warrants Fugitive Division. The authorities were able to recover a firearm believed to have been used in the shooting from Aguilar’s pickup. Davis, who was previously out on bond for multiple felony offenses, was captured after officers discovered his vehicle, which was riddled with bullet holes, parked in the 7800 block of Tacoma Drive. A team of officers and deputies surrounded a residence where Davis was hiding, leading to his arrest. Chief of Police Christopher Cook expressed his concern over the level of gun violence, emphasizing the importance of holding offenders accountable and finding ways to prevent suspects out on bond from committing further crimes involving firearms..
