A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was involved in a severe motorcycle accident on Wednesday afternoon while off-duty in Bartholomew County. The accident occurred at the intersection of W. State Road 46 and Old Nashville Road, involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck. Deputy Timothy True, the motorcycle driver, was found unresponsive at the scene and had to be airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital. His current condition is critical but stable, as he suffered serious head injuries. The preliminary investigation suggests that the pickup truck pulled in front of the motorcycle onto W.
