Treat Williams, renowned actor of films such as Hair and Everwood, tragically passed away in a fatal motorcycle accident earlier this year at the age of 71.
On June 12th, Williams was riding his motorcycle in Vermont when he collided with a vehicle that unexpectedly pulled out in front of him.

Following the crash, Williams was immediately airlifted to Albany Medical Center in New York, where he was later pronounced dead.
Williams’ agent, Barry McPherson, confirmed his death, stating, “He was killed this afternoon. He was making a left or a right [and] a car cut him off. I’m just devastated. He was the nicest guy. He was so talented.”
After nearly two months, a Vermont medical examiner revealed that the actor’s cause of death was “severe trauma and blood loss as a result of the crash.”
In addition, the Bennington County State’s Attorney has completed its review of the accident and charged the other party involved, Ryan Koss, with “grossly negligent operation with death.”

Koss willingly met with authorities and was processed on charges on August 1st. He has been released and is scheduled to appear for arraignment on September 25th.
Williams had an illustrious career spanning nearly 50 years, with over 120 TV and film roles, including notable movies such as The Eagle Has Landed, Prince of the City, and Once Upon a Time in America.
He leaves behind his wife, Pam Van Sant, and their children, Gill and Elinor Williams.
Following his tragic passing, many individuals within the TV industry paid tribute to Williams, including Suits star Wendell Pierce, who described him as a “passionate, adventurous, creative man.”
