On July 29, a 911 call was made in Portsmouth, Ohio reporting a male who had been shot. The victim, Nathaniel Chase Mcquinley, was pronounced dead shortly after emergency medical procedures were performed. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) is assisting in the case. Scioto County Sheriff Investigates shooting Incident at Portsmouth Party
PORTSMOUTH, Ohio – The Scioto County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a shooting incident that took place at a party in Portsmouth, Ohio. According to Sheriff David Thoroughman, his 9-1-1 Communication Center received a distress call on Saturday, July 29.

The caller reported that a male had been shot and the alleged suspect had fled the scene. The incident occurred during a party, as stated by the caller.
Upon receiving the call, deputies, detectives, and emergency medical squads promptly responded to the location. They found a male victim and immediately initiated emergency medical procedures. Unfortunately, their efforts were unsuccessful, and the victim was pronounced dead shortly after.
The victim has been identified as Nathaniel Chase Mcquinley, a 20-year-old resident of Wheelersburg, Ohio. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) has been contacted for assistance in the case.
During the investigation, detectives interviewed multiple witnesses who were present at the party, while the BCI processed the crime scene for evidence.

The main suspect in connection with this murder is Aden Michael Alexander Greene, whose last known address is 3114 Swauger Valley Road, Portsmouth, Ohio. Greene is described as 5’09” tall, weighing 128 pounds, with blond hair and hazel eyes.
Sheriff Thoroughman warns that Greene should be considered armed and dangerous. If anyone spots Aden Greene or knows his whereabouts, they should not approach him and instead contact 9-1-1 immediately.
Several party attendees fled on foot or in vehicles before and during the deputies’ arrival. Detectives have compiled a list of individuals present at the party and encourage them to contact Detective Sergeant Jodi Conkel at 740-351-1091. Doing so will save time in the investigation by avoiding the need to track down each individual separately.
