Man Faces First-Degree Murder Charge in Connection with Death of Dominica Jacklyn Quesada

A man in Brighton, Colorado is facing multiple charges, including first-degree murder, after a deceased woman was found inside a home. Jacob Schadler has been charged with murder, motor vehicle theft, DUI, criminal mischief, and theft. The woman was found on July 27 and authorities were able to locate and arrest Schadler later that day. The victim has been identified as Dominica Jacklyn Quesada. Brighton, Colo. – Jacob Schadler is facing multiple charges, including first-degree murder, after deputies discovered the lifeless body of a 26-year-old woman inside a home in Adams County on July 27. The 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office filed the first-degree murder charge against Schadler in connection with the woman’s death on Tuesday.

In addition to the murder charge, Schadler is also facing charges of motor vehicle theft, DUI, criminal mischief, and theft. The charges stem from an incident that occurred in the early morning hours of July 27. Deputies found the deceased woman inside the home and learned that the suspect had fled the area.

Authorities from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office distributed information about the suspect’s vehicle description to other law enforcement agencies. Later that same day, officers from the Castle Rock Police Department responded to a crash involving the suspect’s vehicle. Although the suspect had initially fled, Castle Rock police located and apprehended him.

The next court appearance for Schadler is scheduled for September 8. The Officer of the Coroner for Adams and Broomfield counties identified the victim as Dominica Jacklyn Quesada, 26. The cause and manner of death are still under investigation.
