Arizona Officials Investigating Fatal Go-Kart and ATV Crash as Homicide

Detectives from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating a possible homicide that occurred on Friday in Meadview, Arizona.

The Sheriff’s Office received a report of a car crash around 1:30 a.m. on Friday. Deputies were dispatched to the area of Driftwood Drive and Boathouse Drive to investigate the incident, which involved an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and a go-kart.

Sally Minard, 32, the operator of the ATV, sustained severe injuries and was transported to a hospital. Sadly, she later succumbed to her injuries. Following this tragic event, detectives initiated an investigation.

During the course of the investigation, authorities determined that the crash was not accidental but a deliberate act. It was also discovered that there was a prior relationship between the two individuals involved in the incident.

John Stettler, 40, the operator of the go-kart, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder in a domestic violence case. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
