One man has died and two others are injured after a crash in Woodbury, Connecticut. The accident occurred when a Dodge Dakota Quadcab Sport crossed over the double yellow line and collided head-on with a Subaru Baja Sport. The driver of the Subaru, identified as Robert Gardner, 56, was fatally injured. The passenger of the Subaru sustained serious injuries, while the driver of the Dodge sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Both vehicles suffered disabling damage. Woodbury, Conn. witnessed a tragic incident on Saturday morning, resulting in the death of one man and injuries to two others. The accident occurred when a 2006 Subaru Baja Sport was traveling south on Rt. 6 near Woodbury Place. At the same time, a 2004 Dodge Dakota Quadcab Sport, driving north on Rt. 6, crossed over the double yellow line into the south lane, colliding head-on with the Subaru. The driver of the Subaru, identified as Robert Gardner, 56, from Woodbury, tragically succumbed to his injuries.

In addition to the fatality, the passenger of the Subaru sustained serious injuries, while the driver of the Dodge suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Both vehicles involved in the collision suffered disabling damage.
