A tragic incident unfolded when a fishing trip turned deadly for two friends in North Carolina. The lifeless body of 29-year-old Kyle Zachary Moberly was discovered after his friend stumbled upon his missing fishing pole, days before the grim discovery. According to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, Moberly expressed his desire to swim to the other side of the cove instead of taking the trail. His friend continued fishing from the original spot and only noticed Moberly’s absence while leaving.
The disappearance occurred at the Buddle Creek Access Area, near High Rock Lake in Lexington.
