East Hartford police have announced that a suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of a 40-year-old man is now in custody. The suspect, identified as Keiran K. Walker, was apprehended while fleeing an apartment building in East Hartford. Although Walker has not yet been charged in connection with the shooting, he is being detained on an arrest warrant from New Jersey. The victim, Sean Arcari, was believed to have been in a dispute with Walker. Walker is scheduled to appear in court to face the fugitive charges. East Hartford Police Apprehend Suspect in Connection with Local Man’s Death

East Hartford police announced on Thursday morning that they have successfully taken a suspect into custody in relation to the fatal shooting of a 40-year-old man last Sunday.

The suspect has been identified as Keiran K. Walker, a 39-year-old individual who was apprehended on Thursday night while attempting to flee from an apartment building in East Hartford. Although Walker is considered the prime suspect in the killing, the East Hartford Police Department (EHPD) has not yet filed any charges specifically related to the fatal shooting. However, Walker is currently being detained due to an arrest warrant issued in New Jersey.

The victim of the fatal shooting on Sunday night has been identified as Sean Arcari, a 40-year-old resident of East Hartford. It is believed that Arcari and Walker were involved in a dispute. The incident occurred at 217 Burnside Ave. in East Hartford at approximately 7:57 p.m.

Upon receiving reports of a male victim who had been shot, the EHPD dispatched officers to 217 Burnside Ave. Upon arrival, they discovered that the victim had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. The EHPD has named Walker as the suspect; however, no formal charges have been filed against him at this time.
In a statement released on Thursday morning, the EHPD stated, “He is a suspect in our murder. However, our case is still pending and he is currently being held on a fugitive from justice charge out of New Jersey where there is a $1 million bond.” Walker is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Thursday, July 27, to face the fugitive charges.
The EHPD has indicated that further information regarding Walker’s involvement in the East Hartford homicide will be provided in due course.
