Funeral services are set for Michael Patrick Brock, a Commerce man who was killed in a motorcycle crash in Towns County. The Towns County Sheriff’s Office received a request to locate Brock, who was reported missing while riding his motorcycle from Helen to Towns County. Sgt. Commerce Man Killed in Tragic Motorcycle Crash Remembered at Funeral Services
Authorities from the Towns County Sheriff’s Office received a distress call on July 21 from a neighboring agency, requesting assistance in locating a missing man riding a motorcycle from Helen to Towns County. Towns County Sheriff’s Patrol Sgt. Eddie Spradlin discovered the motorcyclist, identified as Brock, and his motorcycle down an embankment near the peak of Unicoi Mountain. Sadly, Brock had already passed away, and it is believed that he had been there for several hours prior to being found.
The Georgia State Patrol is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The funeral service for Michael Patrick Brock will be held this Friday, July 28 at 2 p.m. at the McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home in Cornelia, where friends, family, and community members will gather to pay their final respects and celebrate his life.
