A Chicago man, Rayvon Parker, has been charged with beating a woman and shooting a man. Parker, 32, was arrested on Tuesday for the separate crimes on the South Side. He allegedly shot and seriously injured a 34-year-old man in May and later assaulted a 27-year-old woman in July. Parker is facing charges of attempted murder, armed habitual offender, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and domestic battery. He is scheduled to appear in bond court on Thursday. Chicago Man Arrested for Assault and shooting Incidents
CHICAGO – A male resident of Chicago has been taken into custody following his alleged involvement in two separate criminal incidents in the city’s South Side. The suspect, identified as Rayvon Parker, 32, was charged with assault and attempted murder.
May shooting Incident
According to authorities, Parker is accused of shooting and inflicting serious injuries on a 34-year-old man on May 28 in the 8600 block of South Loomis.
July Assault Case
The suspect was subsequently identified as the assailant who assaulted and severely beat a 27-year-old woman on July 21 in the 200 block of West 111th Place.
Charges and Court Appearance
Parker is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder and being an armed habitual offender. Additionally, he is also charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and domestic battery, both classified as misdemeanors. His scheduled court appearance is set for Thursday.
