The search for Crabb intensified when Clayton County officers received information that he might be passing through the county. The officers were on high alert when they spotted the car Crabb was driving in the area of Highway 85 and Webb Road. They located the vehicle at a hotel and quickly swarmed the parking lot.
Further investigation revealed that Crabb had checked into one of the hotel rooms. Law enforcement officers used the public address system to call him out of his room. Crabb complied and was immediately arrested on murder charges by Clayton County deputies.
The suspect will now be extradited to Lee County, Alabama, where he will face charges for the murder. The victim’s identity has not yet been released, and the motive behind the crime remains under investigation.
