The impact was on the passenger’s side of the vehicle, resulting in the deaths of both occupants.

The victims were identified as Dallas Corbin Dozier, a student at Hawkinsville High School, and his mother, Brandy Elizabeth Drinnon. Dozier was driving at the time of the crash. Dozier was described as a well-mannered young man who enjoyed gaming, while Drinnon was a self-employed tattoo artist who loved drawing, music, fishing, and spending time at the beach with her family.

The community mourned the loss of Dozier and Drinnon, and their memorial services were held on separate dates. The crash remains under investigation.
