“Deputy David Bosecker Murdered in Line of Duty: Eastland County Sheriff’s Office Mourns Loss”

On July 21, tragedy struck the Eastland County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) in Texas when Deputy David “Dave” Bosecker was killed in the line of duty. Deputy Bosecker was responding to a domestic disturbance call when he was ambushed and fatally wounded. The incident occurred on Highway 183 between Rising Star and Cisco.

Deputy Bosecker had served in law enforcement for over 21 years, dedicating his career to protecting and serving the community.
