A tragic fatal crash occurred on Friday morning in Lanham, Maryland, and the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating the incident. The driver, identified as 17-year-old Jason Peraza of Lanham, lost control of his vehicle and collided with a utility pole on Ardwick Ardmore Road.
According to the preliminary investigation, Peraza was traveling eastbound on Ardwick Ardmore Road when he lost control of his car for reasons that are still under investigation. Sadly, Peraza was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. A passenger in Peraza’s car also suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision.
