“Man Killed in Richmond Shootout; Suspects at Large”

A man was killed during a shootout in a parking lot in Richmond, Indiana, on Thursday morning. The incident took place at around 8:10 a.m. in the 130 block of N. 34th Street. According to the Richmond Police Department (RPD), they received a report of multiple people shooting guns in the area.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a victim, later identified as 32-year-old Robert Anthony Hill, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, Hill was pronounced dead at the scene by Richmond Fire Dept. medics.

RPD immediately launched an investigation into the shooting. They discovered several bullet strikes and holes on a nearby vehicle and multiple surrounding buildings. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported.

Witnesses at the scene informed officers that two men dressed in all black and wearing masks were responsible for the shooting. The suspects fled the scene in a 4-door black or dark blue car with chrome-colored wheels. Their direction of travel is currently unknown.

Despite the information provided by witnesses, the suspects managed to escape before officers arrived. Investigators are currently collecting additional evidence and interviewing witnesses. However, no arrests have been made as of Thursday evening.
