Plainview police are seeking information from the public as they continue their search for two suspects involved in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash that left a teenage boy critically injured. The incident occurred on July 2 in the 3400 block of Navajo Trail in Plainview, Texas.
According to reports, a fight broke out at a nearby party, and witnesses stated that a black vehicle intentionally drove into the crowd and ran over a 15-year-old boy. The teenager was taken to Covenant Hospital Plainview and later transferred to a hospital in Lubbock, where he remains in critical condition. However, the police spokesperson recently confirmed that the boy has been discharged and is currently recovering at home.

The Plainview Police Department has identified two individuals as suspects in the aggravated assault but has not released their names. Additionally, six juveniles and one 18-year-old have been identified as being involved in the fight and are facing misdemeanor assault charges.
The Plainview/Hale County Crime Stoppers committee has provided a description of the driver of the vehicle that ran over the boy. They describe her as a Hispanic female driving a dark-colored vehicle. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $500.
