“21-Year-Old Marshalltown Woman Dies in Tragic Accident”

A tragic accident occurred in Marshalltown early Wednesday morning, resulting in the death of a 21-year-old woman. The accident took place on Quarry Road, at around 2:48 a.m. Deputies received a report of a single vehicle rollover accident with unknown occupants. When they arrived at the scene, they found a reporting party near the vehicle, along with an unresponsive occupant. The occupant, identified as Giana D. Alvarez of Marshalltown, was pronounced dead on the scene due to injuries sustained from the accident.

The crash is currently under investigation, and authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, the Iowa State Patrol, or the Marshall County Communications Center.
