“Transient Camp Resident Fatally Attacked by Dogs at Juniper Ridge: Joseph Taylor Keeton Victim”

A tragic incident occurred early Wednesday morning at Juniper Ridge, a transient camp in Bend, Oregon, resulting in the death of a man. Joseph Taylor Keeton, aged 56, was attacked by one or more animals, believed to be up to three pit bull/mastiff-mix dogs. Deputies from the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene after receiving a distress call around 1:15 a.m.

Upon arrival, deputies found Keeton severely injured and losing a significant amount of blood.
