“Lynn Man Identified as Victim in Swampscott Construction Accident”

A tragic industrial accident occurred in Swampscott, Massachusetts, resulting in the death of a Lynn man. The accident took place at the Aggregate Industries quarry, where the victim, Christopher Perry, was cleaning a rock crusher suspended above the quarry with the assistance of a crane. Unfortunately, the rock crusher malfunctioned, leading to Perry’s untimely death. Another worker who was present at the scene escaped uninjured.

The incident took place on Monday, and Swampscott police were alerted to the situation. Initially, a Medflight and technical rescue were called, but they were later canceled as it became apparent that Perry did not survive the accident.
