A suspect has been charged in relation to the death of a man found inside an Abbotsford home, according to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT). The Abbotsford Police Department received a report of a “suspicious death” on Tuesday morning at a residence on Madiera Place. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of a 62-year-old man, who has now been identified as Imtiaz Hussain.
IHIT has confirmed that a suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the homicide. The suspect, 46-year-old Chancal Badwal, is also a resident of Abbotsford. The investigation has revealed that this was an isolated incident between two men who were known to each other.
