A tragic traffic accident in unincorporated Wauconda, Illinois, claimed the life of a 63-year-old woman on Tuesday afternoon. The incident involved a car and a three-wheeled motorcycle, with the woman serving as a passenger on the motorcycle.
According to the Lake County Coroner’s Office, sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Route 12 and Lake Shore Drive. They found two individuals with critical injuries upon arrival. The woman was rushed to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, where she was sadly pronounced dead. The victim has been identified as Laura Siano from Northbrook, while the age and gender of the second victim were not disclosed.
