A tragic accident at a poultry plant in Hattiesburg, Mississippi has claimed the life of a teenage boy. The incident occurred at the Mar-Jac Poultry-MS processing plant on the evening of July 14. The employee, a 16-year-old Hispanic male from Hattiesburg, was conducting sanitation operations when he sustained fatal injuries.
The young employee, identified as Duvan Pérez by friends and family on social media, was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death is currently pending an autopsy. The coroner’s office has withheld his name due to his age and the ongoing investigation.
