A love triangle in Sherman, Texas took a violent turn, resulting in a crash that left one man critically injured and another behind bars. The incident unfolded when 33-year-old Cody Kuntz and 26-year-old Daniel Blakley got into a confrontation on Friday. According to reports, Blakley got into his vehicle while Kuntz took off on his motorcycle. Tragically, Blakley’s vehicle struck Kuntz’s motorcycle and crashed into the back of an AutoZone, pinning Kuntz underneath.
The motive behind the altercation was revealed by Blakley’s wife, Amanda Blakley, and Kuntz’s girlfriend, Kacie Gunter Amuda. The two women stated that the argument stemmed from a romantic entanglement involving Amanda and Kuntz. Although Amanda and Daniel had been together for almost four years, they had been separated for the past two months. During this time, Amanda began a relationship with Kuntz, who was also in a relationship with Amuda.

The altercation took place in the parking lot of a Lowe’s in Sherman, Texas, with Daniel aggressively confronting Kuntz. Amanda stated that Daniel followed Kuntz for almost a mile down the road in his vehicle. She expressed shock at Daniel’s anger and impulsive actions, saying she did not know what caused him to snap.
As a result of the crash, Kuntz was flown to a hospital in Plano, Texas, in critical condition. He has since undergone two surgeries and is currently in a medically induced coma. Amuda expressed concern for Kuntz’s recovery, acknowledging that although he currently looks stable, anything could happen.
Daniel Blakley was arrested the following day and charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. He is currently being held in the Grayson County Jail on a $1 million bond.
