A tragic crash in Orange City, Florida has resulted in the death of a motorcyclist and the arrest of a woman on charges of DUI manslaughter. The incident occurred on Saturday night when a silver 2023 Lexus exited the parking lot of Destination Orange City/Dales Ales and traveled north on North Volusia Avenue. At the same time, a 2004 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling in the inside northbound lane, leading to a collision between the two vehicles.
As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist, identified as Justin W. Evans, was thrown from his bike and sustained severe injuries. He was rushed to AdventHealth Fish Memorial Hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. Evans, aged 37 and from Sanford, has since been identified as the victim in this tragic incident.

The driver of the Lexus, Christine T. Robison, was not injured in the crash. However, she displayed signs of possible impairment, prompting Orange City police to conduct a DUI investigation. Following the investigation, Robison was placed under arrest and taken to the Volusia County Branch Jail. She is now facing charges of driving under the influence and DUI manslaughter.
