The death of an undertrial prisoner in Bhanjanagar jail in the Ganjam district has sparked controversy as the family of the deceased alleges foul play. The 40-year-old Charan Behera, who hailed from Tanarada village, was arrested by Bellaguntha police in connection with a theft case and had been in jail for five days before his untimely demise.
