“Tragic Death of Loki Mandal in Violent Altercation Sends Shockwaves in Sarvapriya Vihar”

A tragic incident occurred in Sarvapriya Vihar, south Delhi, resulting in the death of a 55-year-old man named Loki Mandal. The incident took place in the early hours of Saturday morning and is believed to have been the result of a fight. Mandal was fatally struck on the head during the altercation, leading to his demise. The incident was reported by a concerned citizen who made an emergency call at 2:36 am. The caller informed the police that two men were engaged in a violent altercation, with one of them allegedly striking the other with a brick to the head. Law enforcement quickly responded to the scene, and the individual who reported the incident, Ravi Aahuja, provided important information to the authorities. Aahuja informed the police that the victim had been rushed to the AIIMS Trauma Centre for immediate medical attention.

Unfortunately, when the police arrived at the trauma center, they were informed that Mandal had been pronounced brought dead upon arrival. The victim, a resident of Begampur, succumbed to the severe head injury sustained during the altercation.

The accused, Rohit, was apprehended by the police at the scene. In his statement to the authorities, Rohit admitted that both he and Mandal were heavily intoxicated at the time of the incident. He confessed to engaging in a heated fight, during which he used a brick to strike Mandal on the head, resulting in the fatal injury.

Due to the seriousness of the incident, a murder case has been registered under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code at Malviya Nagar Police Station. Rohit, a resident of Gurgaon Sector 9, has been taken into custody by the police for further investigation.
