A tragic incident occurred in Damascus, Oregon on Wednesday night, resulting in the deaths of a 12-year-old boy and a 34-year-old man. The Clackamas County Sheriff’s office reported that it was a suspected murder-suicide.

According to authorities, the suspect, Rickoshay Kerr, broke into the house by crashing his car into the garage after ramming through a closed gate. This incident happened despite a restraining order against Kerr, and neighbors had called 911 after witnessing him in the area with a gun.

When deputies arrived at the scene, one of them attempted to stop Kerr’s vehicle by shooting out two of its tires. However, the car continued to drive past patrol cars and entered the property due to the long driveway. The driver of the car was a concerned family member, and authorities were unable to prevent him from entering the house.

Upon entering the house, officials discovered the bodies of Kerr and the 12-year-old boy, both with gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, life-saving efforts were unsuccessful, and two dogs inside the home were also shot and killed.

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office and other investigative units, are currently investigating the incident. They are working to gather more information about the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
