On Tuesday, a tragic helicopter crash in eastern Nepal near Mount Everest claimed the lives of five Mexican nationals who were visiting the country for sightseeing. The Manang Air helicopter took off from Surke Airport and suddenly lost contact at an altitude above 12,000 feet. The helicopter crashed in a remote mountainous area in Solukhumbu district.
The victims were identified as Fernando Sifuentes, Abril Sifuentes Gonzalez, Luz Gonzalez Olacio, Maria Jose Sifuentes, and Ismael Rincon.
