“Tragic Crash Claims Life of Adrainna Marie Aguilar in Rural Brown County”

A tragic car accident in rural Brown County, Minnesota claimed the life of a young woman early Sunday morning. The incident occurred at approximately 2:45 a.m. in Stark Township, which is located south of Sleepy Eye.

The victim, identified as Adrainna Marie Aguilar, 20 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Aguilar was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Sergio Andres Rangel, 22, also from Sleepy Eye. According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Rangel was traveling westbound on Co Rd 22 when his vehicle veered off the road and entered the south ditch near the intersection with 22oth Ave. The car then collided with a utility pole and rolled multiple times.

Fortunately, two children who were also in the vehicle at the time of the accident, a 2-year-old and a 7-month-old, were securely fastened in car seats and did not sustain any injuries, as confirmed by the sheriff’s office. Rangel himself suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated at a nearby hospital before being released.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation. Authorities are working to determine the factors that led to the incident, including any potential contributing factors such as speed, road conditions, or driver distraction.
