Three Georgia teenagers have been arrested for the alleged murder of a man after egging his house. The incident occurred on Monday and resulted in the death of Jonathan Gilbert, also known as Tyler Lane. Eighteen-year-olds Sydney Maughon and Jeremy Munson, along with 19-year-old McKenzie Davenport, have been charged with malice murder, battery, and criminal trespass. Maughon and Munson also face charges of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

According to the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office, there was an ongoing “lovers’ quarrel” involving the victim that led to the egging of his house. When Gilbert saw the suspects vandalizing his residence, he confronted them unarmed. It was at this point that Maughon allegedly shot him multiple times before they fled the scene in a car.
